FULL-TIME SALES ASSOCIATE – WEST HARTFORD, CTJOB SUMMARY:The primary responsibility in this position is to provide outstanding customer service to all clients advising them on jewelry, watch, and gift selections.
In addition, responsibilities include assisting with inventory control, store maintenance, and becoming proficient on all store systems.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:-Develop strong client relationships to meet and exceed monthly sales goals. Practice suggestive selling and offer all customers add-on items in order to drive multiple unit sales-Handle all aspects of selling fine jewelry & watches in a professional, highly productive manner embracing and applying Lux Bond & Greens core values of Customer Service, Teamwork, Communication, Confidentiality, Respect, and Integrity in every interaction.-Complete all sales and service documentation and related responsibilities including gift-wrapping, shipping, special orders, thank you notes, etc. In a timely and accurate manner.-Cultivate customer relationships with new and existing customers by providing exceptional customer service. Regularly outreach to potential customers through networking, community events, etc. To get customers into the store. Keep a client book and contact customers on a regular basis using e-mail, texts, event invitations, etc.-Develop strong knowledge of all store products and services and use this knowledge to build sales-Understand and properly execute all systems and procedures to ensure quick and efficient transactions including capturing customer data-Store Maintenance: keep merchandise displays fresh, exciting, properly stocked, and presented in an organized and attractive fashion.
.This is a part-time position and is ineligible for benefits.JOB SUMMARYThe purpose of the Community Service Officer is to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the patrol division of the police department by supplementing the patrol force through the assumption of duties not requiring sworn personnel. Such duties may include vacation house checks, traffic control, jail operations/prisoner transports, and ordinance enforcement. As a condition of employment in the status of this position, all community service officers must be able to perform the entire list of duties as outlined in this job description.
